Mumbai, (May 07, 2020), Sonal Chaturvedi’s new book, The Real Wani—Kashmir’s True Hero is built around hardship, bravery, and glory of a soldier from the land of Kashmir. The book chronicles the brave and honest account of Shaheed Lance Naik Nazir Ahmad Wani. He was the first person from Kashmir to be conferred with the Ashok Chakra, India’s highest peacetime military decoration award.
Sonal takes the readers to the backstage where they see what kind of preparations and tenacity go in making a true soldier. Through the life of a soldier, the author brings out what churns beneath the landscape of Kashmir crises. A good number of letters and a forward by General Bipin Rawat reinforces that Nazir Ahmad Wani was a true son of the nation who fought the terrorist till his last breathe. He is an inspiration for millions and his sacrifice will go into the military history forever.
Published recently by Bloomsbury, the book is available in all formats online and offline.
