Published by Prithvi Fine Art and Cultural Centre, this is one of the finest poetry collections by Sangeeta Gupta. The book offers around 50 short readable poems in the genres spanning across love to telepathic thoughts to twin soul and much more. The stand out theme in the book is ‘Twin Soul’ and how it can transform one to rise up again in life. The very first poem is titular, Rise from your Ashes, it falls under motivational/inspiration genre. This poem is a best fit for people struggling to reclaim their lives back at any stage. The exact voice of the poem is to make an individual believe in himself/herself that want to rise again in life for the sake of love and the spirit of life.
The collection silently classifies its voices, you will get that hunch when you read the book twice or thrice. Right since the beginning, there are many poems with themes on twin soul, finding soul mate, agony of separation, and so on. At times, there are a few abstract poems but towards the end the book gains momentum of Love. Learning to Love is a love bound poem; it also re-iterates the aspect of self-love and self-belief.
The collection is sublime and beautiful in its stance. Sangeeta’s way of approaching unheard concepts through poetic words is simply superb. This is not the only work of her; she holds a long list of titles in poetry. The book can be read anytime for personal motivation and the title indicates that the book looks like a dose of inspiration for all its discerning readers.
