Published by Ukiyoto Publishing in paperback and Kindle, Wagging Tongues by Yogie Chandra Tatvaraj is a thought-provoking book of short stories and author’s take on life lessons through funny, humorous, sarcastic, and contemporary tone. In nutshell, the stories flip the shades of life, at times ironical…many a time startling. However, the lessons of life never dip, even for a moment.
All stories are presented through one specific yet peculiar character: Ranjan D’ Cruz, an Indian maverick Rock Singer. The semblance of the book looks witty but a close look reveals that it’s highly philosophical. True to its veracity, as wisdom and philosophies through quotes run amok from the prominent figures, including the author, like Bruce Lee, Krishnamurti, Rabindranath Tagore, Albert Einstein, Eckhart Tolle, Osho and many more.
Ranjan D’ Cruz’s life story is interesting, so does his anecdotes that are spiraled off his personal experiences. The book is a notable resource for quotes on knowledge, intelligence, social sarcasm and prototype, dark side of life, and much more. Ranjan’s story is unique. He, initially, at the young phase of his life tried exploring cross continental love, strove to understand the nature of God, got confused by colours of friendship, indulged into drugs, and most importantly shot into fame through his rock band Rakshas. But life has always been a complicated teacher to clear his moral dilemmas.
Many readers have confessed that the book is a sheer fun to read while unlocking the secrets of life. It’s more like a fabled parable! Yogie Chandra Tatvaraj sounds like a pro at life, whatever he experienced and learnt, he has finely penned it down in ‘Wagging Tongues’. An amazing work by the author, whose soul is illuminated with an array of creative chores!
